Community Spotlight: Racquets For The Cure

Over the weekend of September 15-17, KDI Group both sponsored and participated in the Racquets For The Cure Tennis Tournament, hosted at Pinetop Sports Club. KDI Group takes great pride in our clients’ impact on the community and our role in assisting them!

About Racquets For The Cure:

We are a Tennis Tournament Event in Greensboro, NC that raises money for the fight against breast cancer. The organization was founded in 2009 by Teri Orsini, in honor of Tracy Pleva Hill.

Racquets for the Cure is a 501(c)3 organization based in the Piedmont Triad that collaborates with Susan G. Komen Northwest NC to raise money for underserved or uninsured women and men in our area to receive breast cancer screenings and non-medical treatment. For every $1.00 raised through Racquets for the Cure, $.75 stays in Northwest North Carolina. The remaining $.25 is returned to the national office where all funds go to breast cancer research.
